The Faculty of the Department of Mathematics at Northwestern State University welcomes you to our homepage. This group of talented, caring educators is committed to quality undergraduate education. We have created a mathematics program steeped in technology whose quality is recognized throughout the region and by national agencies. In every mathematics course, the student works with hand-held and desktop computers learning the skills needed for success in the workplace. In addition to the instruction and assistance our fine faculty provides, we have peer tutoring for all core mathematics classes at no additional cost to the student. Our graduates are working in industry at places such as NASA, Hewlett-Packard, and Bell South. Other graduates are pursuing advanced degrees and working at fine institutions of higher learning throughout the country. Let us help you reach your potential in Science and Technology.
